Impact of migration on children


     Through the research, the researcher hopes to find out the impact of mother migration on children’s behavior deeply. The research will be conducted to understand the current situation and to suggest better strategies to overcome from the problem. Children in the mother migrant families face physical, social, psychological and emotional problems. The environment of the child shapes up the behavior of the particular child. Family, friends, neighbors and other systems which are related to child’s development are playing very important roles in children’s life in these families.
     In this research study, the theory of systems can be used as a framework for the study. System theory generally describes certain levels of an individual. In structural functionalism; according to Parsons, social action is structured in three ways as social system, personality system and cultural system. From the use of this theory, the research tries to explain how these social, personal and cultural systems affect the behavior of children in mother migrant families.
